A lovely cute cafe with lots of charm. Staff were very welcoming and friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. We had a group of 6 and ordered a variety of dishes. We were all satisfied with our meals. The favourite was the southern chicken open sandwich. The curry had a sweetness which wasnβt what I expected but my daughter enjoyed it. The steak was well cooked but for some reason was a little bit grainy. The pumpkin risotto was enjoyed but could have done with a bit more seasoning. Great serving sizes too.

We went as a group of 4 on Friday night I had the lamb rack which was delicious. And a very generous portion. The rest of our group and the chicken curry and really enjoyed that. The side of vegetables was nice but a little soft for my liking. For a starter we all hadBruschetta which was really tasty. The restaurant was not busy so we enjoyed a nice quiet meal. Highly recommend
Every time I am down in New Plymouth, I always make it a point to come here for a meal. Never have I been let down by these guys. The dishes are so full of flavour and it keeps me wanting to go back for more. I love the seafood linguini - itβs beautifully cooked and fresh, while my partner loves the open pork belly sandwich. The service is amazing, always a smile on all their faces - you can feel the warm welcome from them and the chef puts a lot of care and love into the dishes. Beautiful place - both outdoor and indoor seating available for whatever youβre feeling. No pictures as food is too good and always gone by the time we remember to take a pic.
Drove past this place. Saw the signage so called in as we were hungry and thinking about where to have breakfast. Knew nothing about it and had no expectations. Immediate impressions (from the ambience of other customers and the staff) was it was friendly and relaxed. We were given a menu each and sat down at a table we chose. Water was brought to us straight away and after a short time of reviewing menu - staff came and took our order. We didnβt have to wait long and our meals were brought out. Lovely presentation, prepared perfectly. No complaints about preparation or taste. There was no hovering or rushing. Overall really pleasant experience. For something we only stumbled upon and had no expectations - a real winner thanks.
Ordered takeaway for 2. The Seafood Linguine was absolutely fantastic. I was surprised by the high number of prawns in the serving. Also ordered the Pumpkin Risotto which was a huge serve. Highly recommended.
Flavoursome food and good coffee- lovely staff and very helpful. Breakfast was great value for $ β¦ will add this place to my go to when visiting New Plymouth, cosy atmosphere.
The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too!β Chef special scotch fillet and the salmon Benny was so yummy . Meat was cooked exceptionally. we ate the whole thing yum yum ! Would recommend for anyone . Good luck Piko Piko team and hope to come back and have a nice meal again soon .
One of New Plymouths hidden treasures tucked away off Mangorei Rd. The food is fantastic and beautifully presented every time. Well worth the drive to come here and enjoy a peaceful meal with friends. But don't tell everyone
